National List Of Advisers

In April 2002, the Arts Council of Wales (ACW) started the process of establishing a National List of Advisers - a list of people who have agreed to offer their expertise to ACW. Their duties will include:

• Assist with the assessment of grant applications
• Attend performances, exhibitions, events etc, and submit monitoring reports to ACW
• Attend occasional meetings and /or provide submissions in the review and development of strategic action plans
• Assist with the development of policy
• Assist with the periodic review of funded organisations

The National List of Advisers replaces the specialist advisory panels previously used to assess applications for funding and develop policy. The list will therefore include people who have been members of the specialist advisory panels previously used to assess applications for funding and develop policy.
