Fit4Funding

Fit4Funding gives comprehensive and useful information on funding opportunities on a monthly basis through an emailed newsletter. Although membership is free (for organisations whether large or small) there is a cost for receiving the newsletter although once a member this is about £25. (Based in England so some of the funding information isn't relevant to those in Wales)

Government Funding Portal

The governmentfunding.org.uk portal has provided information on £770million of funding to over 28,000 subscribers this year alone. Subscribing to governmentfunding.org.uk will give you: · access to clear information on grant schemes for the voluntary and community sector from 14 government departments · the opportunity to receive email alerts on grant schemes relevant to you · extensive funding information and advice, including an A-Z of the voluntary sector. Organisations with a turnover below £500k can access the site for free. Organisations with a turnover above £500k are required to pay an annual subscription charge of £75 (+VAT). Multiple user licenses are also available at reduced rates. Advice and access to a wide selection of grants from Government for the voluntary and community sector.

Institute of Fundraising

How2fundraise.org is the most comprehensive, free on-line resource for the UK's 16 million volunteer fundraisers, from the Institute of Fundraising. There you can share what you know and get inspired by others.

Wales Council for Voluntary Action

The Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) provides lots of useful information and support. Their website gives lots advice on sustainable funding, training available, case studies as well as other sources of information.

Schemes

It now operates a new fund - Sustainable Funding Cymru that delivers a comprehensive training, advice and information programme, part of a joint funding advice service in Wales. With the help of a grant from the Big Lottery Fund, WCVA's Sustainable Funding Cymru will seek to assist voluntary and community organisations in Wales achieve long-term financial sustainability.
