The Arts Database

The ARTSWALES database has been established to showcase the work of Wales' artists and arts organisations. As you will see, a wide spectrum of artforms is represented, and as well as background information and contact details for individual artists and organisations, the database also contains samples of their work.

You can search the database by alphabetical listing, or by searching for a key word. Click on any of the database headings below, to beginning searching.

NB: In keeping with ACW's Welsh Language Policy, artists and organisations have been invited to have their details displayed equally in Welsh and English. However, information has been entered in the language(s) provided by the artist or organisation, and no editing of the original material has been undertaken.

Arts Council of Wales is not responsible for the content of external websites. This is because -

  • the Arts Council of Wales does not produce them or maintain/update them;
  • the Arts Council of Wales cannot change them;
  • they can be changed without the Arts Council of Wales' knowledge or agreement.
